Interrupting Sins
I don't think I've seen something like this elsewhere. I have noticed that when i interrupt a sin's lead attack, they can still continue their combo. Can anyone confirm that? And if it is actually so, then that is bs.

Unless they have another Lead attack, or they have any "skipper" off-hand, they shouldn't be able to continue their combo.
Wel, they actually can continue their combo, but they will only see "Miss miss miss miss miss".

If your interrupting skill doesn't have an added bonus like adding recharge time or disabling effect then the assassin is likely to strike again in no time since most Lead Attacks have very short recharge times. (That sure was a long sentence :P). Thus, making it seem like the interrupt was futile.

Maybe it interrupts a skill not an attack

Most sins just roll their heads on their keyboard across the number keys when they attack.

We can't really be sure unless we know what it was the Sin was running and what you interrupted. Sometimes it's not as straightforward as lead -> offhand -> dual.

Well, to be more specific, I would dshot palm strike and then they'd use trampling ox on me.

This.
To understand it, create a PvP Assassin, and go to the Master of Damage. Then use your offhand without using your lead, and continue your chain.
You will see "Miss" instead of seeing damage dealt.
Assassins don't have to trigger their skills in order, nor are they prevented from using offhands or duals at any time, but if the condition is not met (they use an offhand that requires a lead, but they didn't use a lead, etc.) they will still use the necessary energy for the skill they used, the skill will go through its standard recharge, and the attack will miss, meaning not a damn thing happens to the target.
So...
A Palm Strike 'Sin is coming after you, and you manage to DShot his Palm Strike. If the 'Sin isn't paying attention (which is what it sounds like happened in your case), he/she can still use Trampling Ox, wasting energy, incurring skill recharge, but seeing "Miss" pop up instead of the pretty numbers that should be seen and you, the target, won't suffer the KD.
That explain it?

No. That's not what I am saying. When he uses trampling ox, he hits me. I take damage, but i dont suffer KD because I'm not crippled.

That's normal.
Only KD from Trampling Ox is conditional. Damage is always done if an offhand was used before.

But I interrupted the offhand. I don't see how they can use the dual.

Any change that the sin used palm strike on you before? I don't play/have assasin anymore so don't remember how long the "chain markers" stay on your target - but that way he could use Trampling on you.
ie. he uses palm on you, for reason or another don't attack you yet (you get away, snare gets removed etc), then he comes back to you and starts the chain again, but since he got off-hand on your already he can use trampling? no?
Don't know any other way why that could happen, i've interrupted sin attacks many times on ranger (and PD mes :P) and the nice "miss" sound have played every time.
